I’m about an hour south of Tampa. Do you know any shipping cargo company in that area that you could recommend? Where can I purchase the Barrels from? I want to ship some kitchen appliances; Knick knacks ect… to my new apartment over there and would appreciate recommendations. Thank you!
Hi, there. You should be able to find Barrels on Facebook Marketplace. I wouldn't recommend putting kitchen cutting knives inside (I lost a knife) or anything really valuable at the top. As for shipping companies, I can't recommend, but I heard good things about these two options. Both in the Florida area, so you could check more into it.
The barrel idea is brilliant. And this totally gives me ideas about what and how to pack and ship. I had an idea that I would take a cruise ship as far south as possible, and disembark to a bus or train or whatever is available for public transportation into the new country. Flying isn't an option unless back and forth for visiting and hauling a little at a time. Great information, thank you, as always for your work.

Please, what shipping company do you recommend? I live in Boston, moving to Santo Domingo on May 30th so need to “get it together” quickly!! Thanks, L
Good day, Linda. I asked around and these are the referred two options that work in the Massachusetts area. Safe travels.

Thanks. I must say, packing in the barrels made everything so much easier with settling in the new country.
